Base for Ice Cream

Anyone can make this simple base for ice cream.

Necessary ingredients:

10.1 oz (300 ml) of sweet cream whipped cream

1.7 oz (50 grams) of sugar

3 tablespoons cornstarch

Pinch of salt

Vanilla pods

1. Insert 6.7 oz (200 ml) cream, sugar, salt in a bowl. Dissolve the vanilla pod, remove the seeds and place them. Cook the mixture over medium heat and stir constantly. Remove from heat when it starts to boil.

2. In bowl, combine the rest of the cream with the corn starch. Gently stir in the cooked mixture. Put everything on low heat, stir and cook for about 5 minutes, until you notice that it begins to thicken. Then reduce the heat to a lower and stir for another 5 minutes until the mixture becomes thick.

3.- Remove from heat and cool completely at room temperature, then transfer to freezer. If the mixture has lumps, you can whisk with mixer.
