Take plenty of ripe seasonal fruits and prepare a sweet surprise

This recipe can be now prepared and the mixture for tea to be leaved for the winter or to prepare cold refreshment variant.

The ingredients:

4.4 pounds (2 kg) of various fruits (apples, pears, quince, lemon, orange, blackberry, raspberry, plum …)

2.2 pounds  (1 kg) of sugar

Cinnamon

Anise

Clove

6.7 oz (2 dl) – 8.4 oz (2.5 dl) rum

The preparation:

Cut all the fruit of the size of a bite. Put it in a deeper baking dish, sprinkle with sugar and spices. Stir and place in preheated oven to 356° F (180 ° C).

Thus you bake it – caramelize for one hour. Remove, pour rum, mix well and pour into sterile and warm jars.

The jars should be filled to the brim, immediately close them and turn upside down. Thus hold them until they have cooled (best until the next morning).

In a cup put 2-3 tablespoons of baked fruit tea, pour 6.7 oz (2 dl)-10.1 oz (3 dl) hot water, stir and enjoy the hot drink. Finally eat the fruit that is left on the bottom of the cup.

For summer variant allow the tea to cool and add a couple of ice cubes.
